AGES 1 through 5, "FUN WITH MUSIC"
Show length: 1 hour (45 minutes show if all are under age 3)Brightly and colorfully costumed (but not frightening or intimidating to young children), Arlene leads the children in singing along to familiar favorite songs, dancing and musical games. Arlene’s special PUPPET FRIENDS join in the fun. The emphasis is on participation and fun. Included are beloved sing-along songs such as If You’re Happy and You Know It, The Wheels On The Bus, Six Little Ducks, It’s a Small World, The Itsy Bitsy Spider, I’ve Been Working On The Railroad and more! The children dance to The Hokey Pokey, Knees Up Mother Brown, The Chicken Dance, The Limbo, Shake My Sillies Out and other fun dances and musical games. The birthday child shines as Arlene’s special helper while all the children participate in every song and game, even creating a marching band. Each child receives a special musical gift to take home. |
AGES 6 and up, “BLAST FROM THE PAST – 1950’S ROCK ‘N’ ROLL DANCE PARTY”
Show length: 1 hourDressed in a poodle skirt outfit, complete with saddle shoes and chiffon scarf around the neck, Arlene leads the group in a fun-filled trip back in time to the 1950’s when Rock ‘n’ Roll was born. The children are involved in singing and dancing to old favorites such as At The Hop, The Twist, The Witch Doctor and The Name Game. Hula Hoops, the Limbo, The Chicken Dance, The Bunny Hop, The Hokey Pokey and learning to do The Hand Jive are all part of the fun. Arlene then brings the group forward in time to the 1970’s for a trip to the YMCA as well as the Macarena from the 1990’s. The birthday child shines as Arlene’s special helper while all the children participate in every song and dance. Each child receives a special musical gift to take home. |
