ABOUT ARLENE BRITT

A full-time professional entertainer, Arlene has been delighting young audiences with her children’s musical performances at birthday parties, preschools, child care centers, camps, special events, Burger King's Story Hour, McDonald’s Family Day, Kids’ Expo, First Nights as well as community and religious organizations events throughout the area since 1992.

Children of all ages respond to Arlene’s warmth, energy and contagious enthusiasm. Her love of music and natural rapport with children is evident during her performances.

Arlene is a certified teacher with many years experience teaching in the classroom as well as directing children in music and theatre productions. Her teaching experience spans preschool, elementary, middle and high school. She is also the founder and director of Song and Dance Kids, a performing arts day camp. Arlene received a Masters Degree in Theatre from Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Rowan University. She has also performed professionally in numerous leading roles in musical theatre productions and as a vocalist. Her CD Singalong Fun With Arlene is a favorite among both preschoolers and parents.

Arlene resides in North Edison with her husband and two children.
